Upaz connects lending with field operations.

Lending to farmers depends on work across distance, often with no credit history and a field officer hours away.

Greymatter Technologies needed onboarding, ordering, risk assessment, handoff and collection as one system as the geography grew. AURA LOGIC LABS delivered Upaz, January 2022 to December 2025.

Upaz onboarding hands KYC to a regulated lender for sanction. The lender handoff returns to Upaz servicing and collection.

One operation from onboarding to collection

Upaz spans a mobile app, website and admin panel: onboarding, agri-input ordering, proximity supplier selection, collection and deposit tracking.

Sanction KYC passes to an NBFC, which alone holds sanction authority; Upaz keeps origination and servicing.

Designing for distance and incomplete history

Geospatial route planning replaced manual assignment; field-officer location data drives fuel and wage allowances automatically.

A risk index reads KYC and transaction history; a separate AI path handles new users, since no record is not a low score.

Four years of delivery as the operation expanded

The client reports Upaz scaled from 1 district to more than 30 across 3 states, connecting records with field ordering and collection.
